T THOMAS PATTIE, Chairman of the Motueka Harbour Board, hereby give notice that on the twenty sixth day of April, instant, a poll of the ratepayers in the Motueka Barbour District was held and taken upon the proposal of the Motueka Harbour Board to borrow £13,000 for the purpose of the improvement of the Motueka Harbour as duly advertised in accordance with the provisions of the above mentioned Acts, and that at such poll the number of valid votes recorded was as follows : For the Proposal ... 344 , Against the Proposal ... 40 Now, therefore, inasmuch as the number-of valid votes so recorded in favour of the said proposal was more than three fifths of the total number of valid votes recorded-at the said poll, 1 declare the said proposal to be carried.
