■■» At the meeting of the Land Board this week the' following was among the business transacted : The commissioner submitted for further consideration the applications of Thomas Arthur Wright to purchase the freehold of his pastoral run (No 510) of 9840 acres, situated at Dan sey's Pass in Domet, Kyeburn and Kakanui Survey Districts. The board decided to inspect the property on the 25th inst.

Applications for miscellaneous licen ses under Section 147 of the Land Act, 1924, were considered for the undermentioned sections in Blocks I and VII, Upper Taieri Survey District —H. W. Lusher, section 71, block I, 21 { acres 23 poles, 12 s rental; W. A. M'Lean, section 72, block I, 24 acres 1 rood 30 poles, l2s rental; W. L. Dreaver, section 73, block I, 22 acres 2 roods 29 poles, 12s rental; O.K. Cambridge, section 43, block VII, 24 acres .3 roods 4 poles, 25s rental; A. P.
