Melbourne, May 17. The Australian Wool Growers' Council submitted a statement to Mr S M Bruce (Prime Minister) showing tl.e decline in sheep owing to dingo ravag.-s It is pointed out that, whereas t! e number of sheep increased bv 86' miS - ions, between 1860 ani 1891. it decrees ed by 27h millions between 1891 and 192-3. Ths council urged tr.at the Commonwealth should make wire netting available* as chsaply as possible to help c; mbat the rabbit and ding! ravages.
