"Humour" gathers its matter from all the famous witty papers of the world, including London "Puneh," "Passing Show," "Tit-Bits," "Pearson's Weekly," "London Opioicn," "Sketch," "Weekly Telegraph," "Answers," "Edinburgh Scotsman," "Life," "Judge," "Wayside Tales," "Buffalo : Express," " Boston Transcript," "Cali- ■ fornia Pelican," "Saturday Evening I Post," "Ladies' Home Journal," New York Tribune'," "Chicago Herald," "Stray Stcrie3," and a dozen other English-speaking magazines. Among the foreign papers dealt with ; we find mary delightful extracts, transj lated into English, from "Martin," i "Le Eire," "Le Regiment," "L'Elbeu- ! vein (France); "Kasper" (Sweden), I "Karikaturei:" (Ncrway(, "De Amsteri damme" (Hollan'), "Simplicissimus" ! (Germany), and "Die Muskete" (Aus- > tria) ; other countries whcse artists and | writers are represented in "Humour" ! are Italy, Spain and Norway. No better way could be imagined of j bringing Australasian readers in touch i with the humour ©f the world, for in a i single magazine is cream of the wit from all the publications j mentioned.
The matter includes shore stories, humorous paragraphs, funny sketches and illustrated jok<?e. "Humour" is published on the 7th and 21 st of the month, and is on sale at 3 per copy.
