The rainfall as recorded at Eweburn Nursery, Ranfurly, - for the month of April was 1.63.n on-12. days, the maximum fall being .35in on the 22nd The highest reading of the themometer— in the shade was 76deg on the 6th, and the lowest 30deg. on the night of the 19th. Frost occurred on two nights. At Naseby the rainfall was 2.32 in which fe'l on 14 days The maximum fall was .73in. on the 22nd.
