We hear that it wag rumoured in Ran furly yesterday that the Government have decided to peg off some hundreds of acres above the Government race for tree-planting On Wednesday the marriage of Mr Francis Edward Bore,, second son of Mr James Hore, Kyeburn, and Miss May Howell, a daughter of Mr James Howell, was celebrated at St. Clement's Church, Waipiata. The building was packed to the door. There were two bridesmaids, a sister of the bride and a siater of the bridegroom. The best man was Mr Hore (a son of Mr Silas Hore). The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr Burgess. After partaking of the wedding breakfast the young couple left by train on their honeymoon.

On same evening the committee are requested to meet at the Naseby Church at 7 p.m., to be followed by a meeting of the congregation at 7.30 pm. The moderator will preside at both services.
