He is a beautiful dark bay horse, stands 17 hands high, and has a syt of legs of great quality showing plenty of muscular power and substance, with good flat boue and hair of the right sort ; is nicely set, and combined with grand style ami action, which stamp Ringleader as a pure type of Clydesdale, and a sire most suitable for getting the right class of Draught stocK. Ringleader's sire Champion, by Lotd Haddo by Young Banker, (imported by the late Hon. Mitliew Holmes). Champion, as hrs name implies, is well known in South Canterbury, being always to the fore in the Timaru Show (.'round, beating all comers.
