Monday, 2nd December. - luspeutor of Stock (Mr Kirk) v Andrew Kearney.—Defendant was charged with of feting for sale sheep affected with lice.— Convicted and fined £2, with 7 s court costs aad solicitor's f e<= £1 la. John Bigwood (Sir Kirk) applied for can-, epilation of aa order u rider "' The Destitute Persons' Act," whereby he was ordered to pay 12s per week towards the support of his wife. Eyideuue iu this eane had been taken at Christchurch, aod after applicant had given evidence as to his means, the up plicatiou was granted and order cancelled as from date of application.
