LAND BOARD.

The Receiver of Land Revenue reported : that the following holders ot yearly licenses had failed to renew their licenses by paying their rent :—F J Greer, ,W Leask, Thomas Tate, A I'erguson, Grant and Valpy, Thos Keehan, Bernard Dougherty, Alexander M 'Leivnan, James Foster, G F Hooper, R Johnston -and - others, Thomas Lindsay, ;R Campbell, »nd others.—lt'was decided that the holders of the.se licenses be informed that unlesj their rents are paid' within 14 days their rights will be declared lapsed. It was left in the hands of the chairman to deal with applications for the following sections at a capital value of 12s Gd per acre Section 83, block I, Blackstone district. 81a 3r 4p ; section 84, block I, Blackstone district, 58a 2r 3p •; section 85, block 1, Blackstone district, i 12a Ir 25p. The following applications for rural land ,on please in perpetuity were approved. • Harriet Ballard, sections 75 and 87. block I, St. Bathans district; John M Thee, section 85, block I, St. Bathans district. ' ' * The application of Gertrude Efore-'- to transfer to James Hore lease-in-perpetuity over section 12, block 111, Mauiototo district, was referred to ranger for report. The board was requested to authorise, the Receiver of Laud deal with the following valuations for iinprovem'euts on the following sections in block 1, St -Bathans district.—Section 85, £7 !6s ; section 87, £ll lis; section 88, £8 ,145.; section 89, £42 4s; section 90, £l7 lis; .section 91, £l7 19s.—It .was resolved to request the receiver to pay valuations set opposite these sections to tlie late lessee, Mr Thomas Keenan.
