The Macatjley is a beautiful bay, with immense bone and plenty of hair; he has splendid action, and was bred by John Macauley, Esq., Waikouaiti. He stands hands high, and won first prize at Oamaru as a two-year old, first prize at Palmerston as a two-year old, and champion and first at Palmerston as a three-year old.
