W. J. Plummer.—Occupation license, Home Gully. Mr Inder for, Mr Mackenzie, the owner of the run, said they would be willing that the application should be granted if applicant promised to keep his cattle off the run.^—Applicant .being agreeable, the .laud was granted on the usual conditions. M. Ruddy.—Occupation license, Gimmerburii. The evidence in this case had b«cn taken before, and was published in these columns. —His Worship-said he had received a report from the Commissioner of Crown Lands, and the report was adverse to the granting of the laud. Looking at the application on its merits, he would be inclined to grant it were it not for the objection' of Mr Spedderi, who had made a previous application to the Land Board to acquire the land He would adjourn the application sine die till Mr. Spedderi's application was dealt with, and if he did not get the land he would grant it to Ruddy.,..He . was of opinion, after viewing the ground, that the freehold ought not to be disposed, of- as it would be required for a mining outlet.
