Sib,—l would ask you to grant me space to remedy as far as I can an unpardonable piece of forgetfulness. 1 intended to publicly thank the ladies who so kindly provided refreshments for, the children performing in the kinderspiel, but in the excitement of the moment I forgot to do bo. lam certain the children will all agree with me th»t these ladies deserved & special vote of thanks.—l *m, &c., James P.
