*" WWII^— —M A meeting of the congregation of St. George's Church was held in the schoolroom on Thursday evening last. The Ker. John Hobbs occupied the Chair, and explained that as he was likely shortly to leave the district, he would willingly do all in bis power, to aid in liquidating the debt oa the parsonage. It would bo a source of great pleasure to him to know t' at an effort would be made to rrduce the debt while he remained amorgt lem. The meeting affirmed the desirabaiity to make a special effort at this time to liquidate the debt, and it was resolved that a bazaar be held in Naseby on an early date (probably in December), Bnd that the Church Committee, .with the assistance of a Committee of ladies, undertake the necessary arrangements. A vote ol thanks to the Rev. Chairman 1 erminated the proceedings.
