Mrs. Waldrcon, was ridiug in compan v with a friend from Blacks to Ida Valley, when her husband (who was supposed to have been dead for some years) in a lonely part of th,e road fired upon her—the shot taking effect in her arm, chiefly, and her horse's neck—the latter bolting, causing her. to fall off. The unfortunate woman was, . removed to' St. Bathans by her friend where she now lies in a precarious 6tate, A search was insti. tuled and the dead body of her late bus band was found near the spot, shot through the body.
