Notice is Hereby Given that the Maniototo County Council, at a Special Meeting held on Tuesday, the 7th day of January, 1879, at the County Council Chambers, Naseby, resolved that Clause 1, of Byelaw No 4, be struck out, and that the undermentioned Clause be substituted in lieu thereof; and that a Special Meeting of. the said Council will beheld in the County Council Chambers, Naseby, on Wednesday, the 26th day of March, 1879, at two o'clock p-m., for the purpose of confirming such resolution, as provided under sub-section 3 of Section 80 of Counties Act, 1876. Clause 1, Bxblaw No. 4:— ■ 1. No building or premises within the County shall be used as a place for the slaughtering of sheep or cattle not the property of the owner of the building or premises, except licensed as hereinafter mentioned, nor shall any building or. premises unless licensed as aforesaid be used for the slaughtering of sheep, swine, or cattle, not the property of the owner, after notice served upon such owner, or left for him' on suclTpremises requiring such owner to discontinue such use or to take out a license under this Byelaw for such buildings and premises." Returning on Wednesday, and Saturday, in time for the evening train. Travelling Tickets will be issued to Commercial Men to facilitate their staying at places along the road and resuming- the journey as it may suit them.
