Note. —“Inland” includes Western Samoa and the Islands in the Pacific annexed to New Zealand. Letters and Letter Cards. —Inland, loz. for Id., id each succeeding oz. United Kingdom, British Possessions, and places enumerated in the Schedule (Sec Postal Guide): loz. for Id., 1 Id. each succeeding oz.; for places not named, 2sd. for the first oz. oi fraction thereof, and lid for each succeeding oz. or fraction thereof. Late-fee,. Id. Postcards (inland) Id. All other places, single Id. (Postal Union rates). Commercial Papers (Formal Business Documents or Papers not in the Nature of Letters); and Printed Papers (Printed (Circulars, Periodicals, Books, etc.). Inland :■ — Commercial papers and printed papers: id for each 2oz. up to li lb. (Articles over lilb. in weight are charged at parcel-post rates). Overseas: — Commercial papers: 2id. for first 10 oz., and id. for each additional 2 oz. up to 41b. Printed Papers: id. for each 2 oz. up to 41b. PACKETS. Inland:— id. for each 2 oz. up to li lb. (Articles over lilb. in weight are charged at parcel-post rates). Overseas: — Sample packets (without saleable value): Id. for first 4 oz., ana id. for each additional 2 oz. up to I lb. for foreign packets and up to 5 lb. for Empire packets. MAGAZINES. Inland: —• Magazines i registered at G.P.O. for Inland ■ Transmission.- —If not over 2 oz.: id. (printed paper rate); if not over, 2 oz.: Each copy, Id. for each 8 oz. or fraction thereof. Unregistered magazines: id. for each 2 oz. (printed paper rate). Overseas :• — Registered or unregistered magazines for all countries: id. for each 2 oz. (printed-paper rate). Inland Parcels: Not over 31bs., 6d; 3 to 7 lbs,A/-; 7 to 141bs, 1/6; 14 to 21 lbs, 2/-; 21 to 281bs, 2/6; Australia 8d first lb. and 6d each other lb. upi to IT lb. United Kingdom 2/- up to-3 lb.; 3/4 above 31b. up:to 7 lb.; 4/6 above 71b. up to II lb. Late Fee, Id, Registration 3d. Insurance on. parcels, 4d up to £2.
