PETROL RESELLERS’ ASSOCIATION.
BRANCH FORMED IN FOXTON.
A meeting of local petrol re-, sellers was held at the residence of Mr H. A. Hannay, Purcell St.Vi* on Monday evening for the purpose of discussing matters concerning the trade. There were present Messrs H. Osborne, E. R. Booth, L. Potts, R. Hart (Manawatu Heads). Apologies for absence were received from Messrs R. Tolley and Fraser (Himatangi). Mr H. A. Hannay was voted to the chair and outlined the object of the meeting. It was decided to form a branch of the Petrol Resellers’ Association locally to be known as the Foxton Resellers Association and the election of officers resulted as follows:
President: Mr E. R. Booth, secretary: Mr H. A. Hannay; committee : those present with power to add. It was decided that the retail price of petrol in Foxton for the present be 2/1 to all users for super grades and 2/- for standard grades and that a booking fee of Id per gallon be charged which is to be refunded only provided pay-_ ment of the account is made strictly on the 20th of the month following purchase. It was decided that the Association' meet on the second Monday of every month. , The meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the chair.
