THE WEATHER DURING SEPTEMBER.
During the month of “September rain fell locally on 13 days, a total of 2.75 inches being recorded. The maximum fall Avas .58 on the 13th. The hottest day was the 24th Avith a temperature of 58 degrees, and the .coldest day the Bth with 41 degrees.^
The Government Meteorologist wired at noon to-day as follows The indications are for moderate to strong northerly Avinds, freshening to gale hi places. The prospects are for fairs Aveather but cloudingover Avith rain later. Barometer unsteady Avith a falling tendency. Seas rough.
