CHILD DROWNED IN DIP.
Christchurch, February 11. The two-year-old sou of Mr Alf. Brustad, of Waiau, Avas droAvned in a sheep-dip at his father’s home today. The child Avas Avith his father in the avool shed and Avas unobserved for a few minutes. He was found 10 minutes later in the dip. Resuscitation measures failed to restore animation and a doctor Avas called immediately but the child Avas dead. The child’s mother, wellknoAvn by her maiden name, Miss Aroha Clifford, died Avhen the baby Avas born.
