TOWN HALL TALKIES.

Continuing the phenomenal run of first class entertainment, , “iMfs Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch” is the next picture to be shown at the Toavii Hall this evening. A most attractive cast has been selected to fill the principal roles, namely Pauline Lord, W. C. Fields, Zasu Pitts, Evelyn Venable and Kent Taylor. As for the picture itself the most lovable characters in literature bring to the screen the immortal story of a shantytoAvn family who have much fun even though they are as poor as church mice. The antics and caperings of W. C. Fields and Zasu Pitts have to be seen to be appreciated, and these are only a portion of the entertainment. The hundreds of people who have patiently awaited the screening of “The Lives of a Bengal Lancer,” will reap the reward of their patience on Friday and Saturday when this screen masterpiece will be shown at the Town Hall for two nights only. Some of the highlights of the picture are briefly as folio avs: Gary 'Cooper as Lieutenant Forsythe, a raw recruit, stepping out of a dress suit into uniform; Richard CromAvell, as Lieutenant Stone, inexperienced in battle, a novice at love, liis kiss seals the doom of 2,000 men and made heroes* of a gallant band; Sir Guy Standing as Colonel Stone, soldier martinet, sly as a fox/but a fool to his son; and so they go on. Truly described as the biggest picture- of 1935. A large attendance at each screening is anticipated and. patrons are urged to be early.
