BOWLING.
At an early date a rink from Shannon Club intend trying conclusions with the Foxton holders of the Kinneburg Feathers. The Foxton rink holding these trophies is—Tutty, de Ridder, Christie, and Hinds (s). , During the week-end a rink of local bowlers, Messrs F. Robinson, R. Roore, Wi. Trueman, and J. M. Thomson motored to New, Plymouth where they joined yesterday in the Taranaki Centre rinks tourney. Last year Thomson’s link made a good showing at the same fixture, and although not successful in the finals, received much commendation for their good play. Their Foxton club mates wish them success, and a very enjoyable time. ,
