TREASURER’S STATEMENT. , The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of October the sum of £1045 10/4 was received and has been banked as follows: —• Cemetery Ac. £5 15/-; District Fund Ac. £1,039 15/4. The state of the various ledger accounts at the 31st October was as follows:—• Accounts at debit totalled £3,537 18/4, and were made up as follows: Gasworks £1,588 9/2; General Ac. £930 11/9; Hospital Board £26 19/7; Library £4O 14/2; Town Hall £951 3/8.. The* accounts at credit were: — Rate Arrears £644 19/8; Cemetery Ac. £133 5/-; Heavy Traffic Ac. £99 9/8; Interest £731 1/7; Reserves, £2Ol 6/11; Town Hall Pictures £603 4/4>Woitkers’ Dwelling Ac. £34 10/10; Waterworks £634 13/1, making a total of £3,082 11/1.
