Mr IT. Walden, of Grevtown, is visiting his son. Mr S. I. Walden, of Tliynne Street. Miss M. Francis, of Wellington, is at present on a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs J. C. Francis, of Main Street. Mr J. Ross left for Wellington yesterday afternoon to join the m.v. Foxton as relieving* engineer during Mr Palmer’s absence on sick leave. Mi* H. K. Tait is at present on a visit to Foxton. Sir Tait, who was stationed here for some time with the local branch of the Commercial Bank, has just returned from six months spent in India,
