FAREWELLED.

A happy social time was spent, several competitions creating great amusement. These were won by Mrs R. N. Speirs, Mr and Mrs J. T. Edwards and Mr J. B. Maepherson. At a suitable juncture Mr R. T. Betty (choir master) on behalf of the choir, called on the Misses Stevenson to accept small tokens of affection and esteem. Mr Betty said not only were the Misses Stevenson of great assistance in the choir but they were also regular church attendants, and the church as well as the choir was losing two very valuable members.

Miss J. Stevenson responded on behalf of Miss Stevenson and herself, and in thanlking those present she said that, both she and her sister would be very sorry to leave Foxton where they had spent such a happy time. A delectablo supper dispensed by the ladies concluded a very pleasant evening.
