THE CENTENARY FLIGHT.
MELROSE ARRIVES. C. J. Melrose, the youngest competitor in the Centenary race and the only one flying alone, arrived at Melbourne yesterday morning.
Hansen and Jensen expect to reach Melbourne to-night. TTewett and Kay are still at Uloncurrv.
OTHER FLIGHTS
.(ones and Waller have left Karachi. Colonel Fitzmauricc has now abondoned his flight to Australia in the Irish Swoop. Him expects to fly to Hew Zealand shortly in a twin engined monoplane, from England. The proposed Tasman air race is practically definitely off. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and Mr Taylor reached Honolulu safely and are onw waiting favourable weather to leave on the last stage of the journey to U.S.A.
