From time to time we hear of new terms and wonder vaguely what they mo,an. For example, a style proof head, it appears, is impervious to the vagaries of fashion —and in London is worth £6 10s. per week to the fortunate mannequin. This information came to light recently in a Court case, when a mannequin who had been injured in a motor-car smash claimed damages for loss of employment consequent upon facial disfigurement. The term “Toasting” in connection with Tobacco, sounded unusual at first until Red Shield (Dark) and Blue Shield (Medium) showed what toasting to a. turn could do. If you have not already enjoyed those splendid tobaccos you should do so without delay and experience for yourself the wav in which perfect toasting brines out all the best dualities of the Tobacco. Obtainable everywhere in 2-oz. tins (1/7 and, handy lib. canisters, which work out even more economically in price.—4l.
