THE MAGIC KNOB.
At the annual banquet of the Radio Manufacturers’ Associates, the Prince of Wales referred to the magic little knob which offers a simple remedy Avhen one is fed up Avith a particular item, and remarked he .often Avished other matters in our lives could be dispensed Avith so easily. Whether it Avould really he to our advantage to have everything our own Avay seems a debatable point. As regards Avireless, it may be admitted that the magic knob is a real necessity, but life Avith its problems so easily so Bred Avould lose much of its interest.
Robbed of its problems and the grave difficulty would arise in finding a new game to take its place. The world is perhaps best as it is, for no matter what the circumstances you can always rely upon the soothing and cheerful influence of Red Shield (Dark) and Blue Shield (Medium). The reason is that they are New Zealand Tobaccos at their best and toasted to a turn, which makes all the difference.
