BANNED BOOKLET.
Christchurch, Last Night. The police have been inquiring to discover the seller or sellers ill Christchurch of a booklet, “McArthur Strikes Back at Coates-and the Kelly Gang.” The booklet was the subject of prosecutions in Wellington last week, wlien three men were charged with breaches of the law under the Printers’ and Newspapers’ Registration Act. The booklet has been circulated in fair numbers in Christchurch and presumably has been sold here. It has not - yet been decided what action will be taken against those persons who have sold the publication in Christchurch.
