PRINCE HENRY AT ADELAIDE
One hundred and fifty thousand people, lining the streets, gave Prince Henry an enthusiastic welcome at Adelaide yesterday. Prince Henry attended the Royal Show. Crowds everywhere fought to obtain a glimpse of the Royal visitor. In the course of his reply to the official welcome, the Duke said: You are doubtless aware that your city derives a special connection with my family from the fact that it took its name from Queen Adelaide at the express wish of King William TV.
