THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: 'The indications are for northerly winds strong to gale and backing by west to south. Weather cloudy to overcast with rain probable. The weather will probably become colder. Barometer unsteady but rising slowly shortly. Seas rough, tides moderate.
