A “FREE FOR ALL.”
* Yesterday some of Foxton’s old identities sat yarning about old times and “the good old days” in Foxton. A discussion arose as to which local businessman had been longest in the town. The discussion proved not only interesting but resolved itself into an intriguing competition, so much so that “mine host” at Whyte’s Hotel offered a prize of 5/- to the first correct solution, deposited at this office. The competition is a “free for all” and should attract a good deal of interest. The correct solution will be pbuiished in these columns at a later date.
