UNEMPLOYED TEACHERS.
The number of teachers without permanent appointments under the Wanganui Education Board is 127. Of this number, 64 have been placed in temporary positions, while one teacher has secured temporary employment in another district. Consequently, there are at the present time 63 teachers without employment. RESIGNATIONS. The following resignations were received at yesterday’s meeting of the Board: — Mr. D. Matheson, head teacher, Upokongaro; Miss K. D. Wall, assistant, Kopane; Miss E. M. Sutherland, assistant, Alton; Miss lv. M. Maxwell, assistant, College St.; Mr. G. J. Caiman, assistant, Manchester Street. APPOINTMENTS.
The following appointments were approved:— Miss J. Robbie, sole teacher, Ore Ore; Miss R. Bell, assistant, Castleeliff Side; Mr. D. P. Melville, secondary assistant, Ohakune District High School; Miss I. B. Ford, assistant, Parewanui,
