The welcome rains which Coll Insi night should bring- (lowers and vegetal)lea to perfection for the Animal Stim'mer Show. The hot spoil experienced lately has brought on everything very Cast and the society should he assured of big entries in Sweet Peas and Poses. Hig- entries are expected in the fancy section, exhibitors coming front as far a Held as New Plymouth and Woodville. Mr .J. Linldater, M.P., officially opens the show at .'1 o’clock. An interesting- item for the evening session will be the children’s cooking. It is not possible to exhibit the entries in this section until 5 o’clock, when the judging- will he don^. h’ongolea holds its summer show on Tuesday, 24th. inst. Any local growers wishing to exhibit should get into touch with the President or Secretary of the local society on Monday.
