Miss .). Thymic, of Lady's Mile, is spending a holiday In Wellington. Mr L. and Miss K. King left Koxton this morning; for Unworn oil holiday. Mrs K. •)• Carmont, of Johnston 'St., returned home on Saturday evening', from a holiday spent at W-ai-tarn. Mr .). Walton, son ol Rev. and Mrs W. H. Walton, leaves for England shortly to study for the ministry Among the visitors to Koxton daring' the week-end were Mr and Mrs Brown, of Wanganui East, Miss Holst (Wanganui) and Mr and Mrs A. Hornblow (W.ellingtoii). Secretary A. Walls, of the local Volunteer iFire Brigade, arrived back in Koxton last evening from Nelson, where he lias been attending I lie annual Fire Brigades' Conference ns local delegate. Mr M. E. Porrcau received word yesterday that bis mother, Mrs Anne Pcrreau, had passed away at Auckland. The late Mis Pcrreau was well-known locally but for some time past she had been residing at ML Eden, Auckland. She was 31 years of age. Mr Pcrreau left for Auckland liist night to attend the funeral
