TREASURER’S STATEMENT.
The treasurer reported as follows at Monday night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council:— During the month of July the sum of £999 10s 8d was received and banked as follows: —■■Cemetery A/e. £2 7s Gd, Drainage Connection Loan, A/e. £4l 15s sd, District Fund A/c. £955 7s 9d. The ledger balances at the 31st July were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £543 11s Id and were made up as follows: -Imprest Cash £ls, gasworks £528 11s Id.
The accounts at credit were: General £57 4s lid, fixed deposit £IOO, rate arrears £54 15s Bd, cemetery £69 9s lid, Drainage Construction Loan £B2 7s sd, Hospital Board £26 19s 4d, heavy traffic fees £45 14s 2d, interest £904 11s lOd, library £ll3 12s 2d, reserves £9 10s 4d, Town Hall £44 14s Id, Town Hall pictures £272 0s Id, worker’s dwelling £24 11s lOd, waterworks £566 5s lOd.
