PEA RIFLE ACCIDENT.
Taumarunui, August 15. As the result of a shooting accident at Ohura yesterday, A. P. Brown, aged 18 years, w r as removed to the Taumarunui Hospital with a pea rifle bullet in a knee. Brown and another youth were loading a rifle when the cartridge jammed, exploding as the breech was pushed home.
