DETECTIVE DRAMA AT TOWN ' HALL. “On Thin Ice,” the new attraction at the Town Hall on Friday and Saturday, is a fast moving, thrilling expose of San Francisco’s underworld, and offers clean diversion for movie goers who appreciate a well-told mystery story with a kick for the finish. Edith Roberts lias an important role, and Tom Moord is a typical ’Frisco gangster, who has assumed the role of her long lost brother in order to carry out the details of a colossal bank robbery. William Russell is also in the cast. Special Spat Family Comedy “Radio Arad,” and the latest Pathe Gazette. Usual prices. On Monday night the craze that is at present sweeping the world, is dealt with in a dramatic and novel manner: “The Dancers.” The cast includes George O’Brien, Alma Rubens and Aladge Bellamy. Prices as usual. ROYAL PICTURES. “Lady of the Night,” is the third picture in which Norma Shearer has appeared under Alonta Bell’s direction. This new one, which is to be screened at the Royal Theatre tomorrow evening, is the greatest) triumph of all for both the young star and- the director. Also in the cast are Malcolm AlcGregor, George K. Arthur, and many other noted artists. The story is by Adela Rogers St. John. Extra “Wolves of the North.” Art Acord, celebrated rider and thrill-maker of the screen, has a new acting partner with him in “The Circus Cyclone,” to be screened on Saturday evening. The new star is “Raven,” a wonderful new horse, and one of the cleverest trick horses yet seen. Acord dives from a circus tent to the animal’s back in a sensational stunt in the picture.
