METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL.
The anniversary services in connection with the above were held in the church on Sunday. The church was prettily decorated, and the children were in good voice. The preacher for the day was the Jtev. Boys, of Palmerston North, who preached very appropriate sermons, and spoke very encouragingly to the teachers and children, and congratulated them upon their splendid singing, and also paid a. tribute to Mr Betty, the conductor. The services were well attended, especially the evening service, and the collections were very generous. Miss Evans presided at the organ, Mr Moorman played the Hute, and Mrs Chalk the violin. The anniversary will he continued to-morrow evening, when the distribution of prizes will take place.
