A RAILWAY INJUSTICE.
Tlll'l new railway time-table, to come into operation as from the J-Itli inst., is published elsewhere in this issue. It will be noticed that in the Foxton-Palmerstuii service the early morning' train on Mondays to Palmerston, and the late Saturday night train from Palmerston to Pox I on, has been reinstated. This indicates that the Palmerston. Chamber of Commerce, has been pulling the wires (o some purpose. Poxton’s interests, and the convenience of the local travelling public, lias been put aside. It is to he hoped that the Mayor will call a mooting' of protest against this injustice, and take the necessary steps to have the nresent. system retained.
