FATAL FIRE AT FEILDING.
A FIREMAN KILLED
Feilding, This Day,
At 2.30 o’clock this morning Hastie’s Hotel at Feilding was found to be ablaze, and before the flames were extinguished the premises were practically destroyed. During the progress of the fire Fireman Douglas Williamson was buried by a fall of bricks, and when these were removed life was found to be extinct.
