UNITED STATES FLEET AT TOKIO.
Tokio, October 24,
Replying to Count Komura’s speech in farewelling the United States fleet, Admiral Sperry declared that no two countries ever clasped hands across the sea so warmly. Both might rest content, tor intelligent sympathy had drawn ancient ties still closer.
The public’s send-off to the fleet was enthusiastic.
