WINTER GARDEN FETE.
Wednesday and Thursday Nights.
We are asked to notify these interested that a final rehearsal will take place to-night by those taking part in the dialogue entitled, “ Caught Napping,” which to be rendered on Thursday evening at the winter garden fete. The young men who are working up the comedy ‘ 1 Around the Camp Fire,” will meet in the Methodist schoolroom at 7.30 o’clock sharp for a final practice. The programme for Wednesday evening’s concert is circulated as an inset in thid issue, and should prove sufficiently attractive for a full house. There will be a number of reserved seats at 2/-, and early patrons will have the advantage of securing these. At the close of the programme on Thursday evening a number of competitions will be held: Snowballing, wool-winding, darning. Refreshments will be provided. The Town Band will play in the open air from 7 to 8 o’clock each evening.
