The Plague.
Owing to the spread of plague, thousands of native servants and labourers Ure leaving Durban. It is expected that the drifts (fords) will be closed. A youth named Murray, employed in an oyster saloon at Fremantle, has developed plague. Forty two cases of plague are reported at Durban, twenty-seven of which have proved fatal.
