Wireless Telegraphy.
Signor Marconi has asked the British postal authorities to connect his wireless telegraphy station Poldhu (Cornwall) with the nearest telegraph office, and accept Marconigrams for transmission over the land lines in the same manner as cablegrams are transmitted. The Post Office has refused, as it is not convinced that the system is commercially possible or completely secret. It is also hampered by the Kaiser’s proposal for an international conference to discuss the whole questions of wireless telegraphy. .
