Acceptances for first day's races close on Saturday, January 16 h, 1897, at 9 p.m. Entries for Trial Huvdles and Anniversary Stakes (fir-t day), and Trial Handicap (second day), close on Saturday, January 16th, 1897, at 9 p m. Hacks shall m e an horsps that have never won an advertised rnce exceediug the net -urn or value of 40 soys. at time of start (Hack and Hunter races excepted.) In all nominations description, age and pedigree must b<- given, together with the colours of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case aocompany nominations and acceptances. All races to be run under the " Rules of Raoing." , No betting allowed on tne course except through the medium of the totalisator. The Committee reserve the right to alter any of the above dates.
