. Mr Lloyd George, further questioned in the House of Commons, said that the Government's decision was that Archbishop Mannix would not he permitted to land in Ireland. The necessary steps were being taken to nake this decision effective. Colonel Wedgwood Benn asked "Is & not in the best interests of this country to allow Archbishop Mannix to go to Ireland? Mr Lloyd George: '-'No; I don't think so." (Cheers),
