Michael Sheen, an adult, and two boys named Roy White and Stanley Forest were killed as a;result of the railway smash at Hurstville. The trains collided rear to rear, while one was being shunted for the leturn journey to Sydney. The other was:'awaiting, the signal to proceed to Sutherland.
