MAN NIX STATEMENTS

"Referring to statements made by .Archbishop Mannix, Mr Hughes said that :the Archbishop was the leader of the Sinn Fein in Australia, and had- abused his position as a, priest <to further a most disloyal purpos<v— namely, to set creed against creed, and class against class.

Respecting Archbishop Mannix's -statement that he would reply to Mr Hughes when he returned. Mr Hughes said: "He mnv, but first of jill he has to return."
