CONSTABLE SHOT DEAD

Armed men, riding in motor cars, kidnapped five men at Clones. The men were believed to have worked the trains after the fomier drivers were; dismissed for refusing to cany JMinftioiifi.

A constable was shot dead at Foynes, and another critically wounded at Ballfnsloe.
