EXPERT GERMAN THIEF.

[Press Association. J AUCKLAND, July 15. A man of, German birth named , Louis yon Einem, aged 47 years, apl^afed before Mr Wilson, S.M., as the alleged author of a series.of most expert shop4jjfting, which i occurred in Auckland. Sixty-nine charges of theft were put against him of goods taken from various shops. The value of tho /stolen articles is estimated at £400, of which £280 has been identified. , The case was not conclude^ when the Court adjourned.
